Rabbit Hole Distillery unveils the Velardé Oloroso Sherry Cask Finish Bourbon and the Adourra Armagnac Cask Finish Bourbon, the latest Founder’s Series release. Calumet Farm celebrates its centennial with a multi-bottle collection including its first rye. Barrell Craft Spirits introduces its Full Proof Bourbon, and Sagamore Spirit releases its latest Cask Strength Rye Whiskey. Whiskey Row Bourbon announces three new expressions: Triple Wood, Bottled in Bond, and Cask Strength. Johnnie Walker reveals a sustainably packaged Blue Label Ultra, and Larrikin Bourbon Company debuts a unique Rosewater Bourbon for Derby season. Lastly, Angel’s Envy launches Cellar Collection Vol 5, a straight rye finished in Extra Añejo Tequila Barrels.

The Kentucky Bourbon Festival 2025 sold out in record time, while Gregg Snyder joins Four Branches Bourbon as Master Distiller. Buffalo Trace Distillery continues its post-flood recovery, and new Bourbon Trail-themed lottery games have launched in partnership with the Kentucky Lottery and the Kentucky Distillers' Association. Left Bank Bourbon joins the KDA, and James B. Beam Distilling Co. has announced its 2025 event lineup. Devils River Distillery's assets are set for auction, and RD1 Spirits will open a new Lexington brand destination distillery alongside a special 12-year release. Also in the news: The Obscure Distillery in California is challenging New York's direct shipping law in federal court.

Join Ed & Dean as we review two Brush Creek Whiskeys: Brush Creek Bourbon and Brush Creek Rye. These two whiskeys come to us from the Brush Creek Distillery, on the Brush Creek Ranch, in  Saratoga, Wyoming. Brush Creek Distillery is currently distilling and aging their own whiskeys. While those whiskeys are maturing, they are crafting blends from bourbons and ryes sourced from Indiana, Kentucky and Tennessee. Brush Creek Bourbon is a blend of whiskeys from all three states, while Brush Creek Rye is a blend of two different rye mash bills from Indiana. Both their rye and bourbon are bottled at 94 proof.
